She believes photography is crucial medium in showing the symbiotic relationship of individual art forms in relation to each other and the world. Whether it’s a headshot or a live performance photo, Sophie aims to capture the precious individualism of each subject and the vibrant colour within us all.

Photographing live performance is exciting and unique because every second is peppered with a different influence, a yell from the crowd, the jokes between the band, everything is loud and bright, and when all that charisma can be captured in one photo, its magic.
